What couples can expect
Couples will engage together in 75-minute sessions. Personalized “homework” assignments will be recommended to build upon sessions and guide specific implementation of learned tools and skills.
Weekly sessions are recommended in the initial phase of the counseling process. Maintaining frequent, consistent contact helps to build trust and a therapeutic relationship. As progress is made, the frequency of sessions will be reduced to facilitate long-lasting positive change.
